The mineral stone for poultry, a Peckstone promotes natural pecking behaviour.

Vilofoss Peckstones are designed specifically to satisfy the birds’ desire to forage, scratch, and peck.

Pecking is a common challenge in poultry production. Birds naturally peck to forage for food, establish hierarchy, and respond to stress or boredom. However, when this behaviour escalates, it can result in feather damage, injury, mortality, and even cannibalism.

Even well-managed flocks can experience persistent pecking issues.

Durable, yet destructible, Peckstones help to reduce stress and prevent the occurrence of abnormal pecking behaviour. Peckstones are the ideal tool for enhancing poultry welfare.
